One of my first memories is looking out my window as a small child, wondering if I could reach out and touch the moon. The moon and its cycles continued to fascinate me. I felt a deep connection to the starry sky above and the mysteries it held.

 

At seven years old, my mother gifted me a special book about my birthday, January 17. The book contained a small chapter about the Zodiac. I learned about my sun sign of Capricorn, especially how Capricorns were reserved, hard working and mature for their age. I finally felt understood, as I always felt like I was a mini-adult in a sea of children.

 

The birthday book sparked my interest in all things metaphysical-Astrology, Tarot, past lives, angels, and mediumship. Throughout middle school and high school I took refuge in the metaphysics section of the book store, becoming bi-lingual in the language of the stars. I began doing mini-readings on my classmates after I fortuitously found an Astrology CD-ROM in the clearance section of Best Buy. Best $10 spent ever! 

 

For 13 years I focused on my career as a Special Education teacher with a focus on English Language Arts. That profession spoke to my Cancer moon, as I really enjoyed connecting with young people on a daily basis. Teaching even took my family and I to Taiwan, where my husband and I taught at an American school for foreign students whose parents were residing in Taiwan and needed English based instruction. Teaching was quite the adventure too!

 

In 2020, the Saturn Jupiter conjunction in Capricorn happened, causing the world to shift into a new direction overnight. As Pluto made an exact conjunction with my sun, I knew it was also time for me to transform. Locked out of my classroom for the foreseeable future, my best friend suggested that I start an Astrology based social media page. It was a magical alignment!
